Over one thousand two hundred people enrol on lifelong learning courses in Dundalk IT every year. Committed, hardworking and highly motivated, they are a source of great pride to the Institute and of mutual support to each other. Our students come from all walks of life and professions, and their reasons for coming back to education are just as varied.


The Lifelong Learning Centre at Dundalk Institute of Technology is a resource for the whole community of the Northeast, offering a range of opportunities for people to help with their career development or their personal growth, or to satisfy the need for learning for its own sake. Our range of academic and other learning opportunities not only includes dozens of courses, which have proved their popularity over the years, but also introduces some new choices reflecting our requirement to adapt to the changing educational and training needs of a dynamic society.
